GIVE TO MIRACLE BABIES

Malala was born prematurely at 25 weeks; she weighed only 1lb 9oz and was 12 inches long.

She received support from nitric oxide and an oscillator in the early days of her stay and moved through all levels of breathing support until she was able to breathe room air right before her discharge date. She was discharged after 92 days in the NICU at Northside.

While we were in the NICU, we received support from the Miracle Babies fund which helped us pay bills and for gas to get back and forth to the hospital, which is why we are raising money for the fund now.

We are thankful for all the support we received at Northside during our stay, especially from Dr. Maynar, Dr. Kupke, our parent liaison, Laura, and all the amazing nurses that helped us take Malala home.
