All animal exhibits will be open until 8 p.m. (Weather permitting)

Presenting Sponsorship of Zoo Atlanta’s First Lactation Room
Zoo Atlanta is renovating the Nourish Café restrooms and turning the center baby changing area into two separate spaces—a lactation room and a family restroom. The lactation room is an approximately 8’ x 6’ temperature-controlled room outfitted with seating and other amenities that will provide nursing moms a private space to feed their infants. The room is ADA compliant and adjacent to the new family restroom. Nourish Café, centrally located in the back of the Zoo near the giant panda habitat and the Orkin Children’s Zoo area, is our largest dining location and a popular spot for families to eat lunch and take a break, so we are excited about offering this new amenity in this location.
Miracle Babies Party at the Zoo - FAQs
Do I have to register? Yes, registration is required for all attendees of all ages-- $5 per person, and children 2 years old and younger are free. Your registration confirmation email is your ticket. Please be prepared to show your email (printed or mobile screenshot) for entry. All registration fees will support the Miracle Babies Program. Please limit your registration to 2 adults and 6 children. Fees are non-refundable.
Where will I drop off my donations? Please note we are NOT accepting physical donations of baby supplies and food this year. Attendees are encouraged to make an online donation during registration to the Miracle Babies Program at Northside Hospital. Miracle Babies provides transportation support and resources to families while their babies are in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Where can I park? Self-pay parking will be available at Zoo Atlanta's parking deck (759 Boulevard S.E., Atlanta GA 30312) and costs $6 after 5 p.m. - pay upon entrance, as well as main entrance ground level parking.
*PLEASE NOTE: The management of parking at the Atlanta Zoo lots, including Cherokee and Boulevard Parking Garage, falls under AAA, with corresponding parking charges*
What type of food is being served? Party snacks such as popcorn, cotton candy, and ice cream will be offered at different locations around the park. Water, tea, and lemonade will also be provided. If you desire additional/alternative food options please bring them from home, or you can buy food at the Zoo's Nourish Café. The Zoo has picnic areas and tables in the KIDZone and Grand Patio areas. Please note, glass containers and straws are not allowed in the Zoo. No outside alcohol is allowed on Zoo grounds.
Can I bring a friend? You may bring a guest. However, they must be registered. It's $5 per person, and children 2 years old and younger are free. Please remember that there can only be a total of 2 adults and 6 children per group. The deadline to register is Friday, April 19, 2024.
I did not receive a email, can we still come? Yes, if you have a child who was born at Northside Hospital then you are invited! All attendees must register.
I can’t come but can my neighbor/friend use my invitation? We're sorry you won't be able to attend. However, this event is limited to families of Northside Hospital babies only.
Can I Come Early? You may pay/use a membership to visit the zoo during its regular hours. However, please note that the zoo will close, and all guests will be asked to leave prior to the event starting. Registered guests may re-enter once the event begins.
