H.E.A.R.T.strings Perinatal Bereavement Fund
H.E.A.R.T.strings Legacy Fund
Hope, Empathy, Alliance, Resources and Teamwork
The H.E.A.R.T.strings department at Northside Hospital provides support to families experiencing the devastating death of a baby and the loss of a pregnancy due to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, premature delivery, neonatal death, or termination due to complications with the baby or mother. Their hope is to offer comfort as families embark on their journey toward healing.
Memorial donations made to this fund are used to support bereavement training for staff and volunteers, printed resources for families, and supplies for our keepsake program and support groups.

Families and caregivers gather to honor babies.
Atlanta Walk to Remember Fund
In recognition of National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month in October, H.E.A.R.T.strings Perinatal Bereavment Office hosts the annual ATLANTA WALK TO REMEMBER. Parents, families, friends and health care professionals are encouraged to attend to remember the babies that they’ve lost and help raise public awareness of pregnancy and infant loss. Each year, more than 700 people participate in this free event. Although it receives strong support from Northside Hospital, anyone whose life has been touch by perinatal loss is invited to participate.

H.E.A.R.T.strings Testimonial
"During one of the most difficult points of our lives, H.E.A.R.T.strings provided us with tremendous solace and support. We cherish the many ways they helped us honor our son through the Keepsake Memory Box, engraved necklace of our son's footprint, the annual Walk to Remember, and support groups. Their sincere care and concern has continued weeks and months through our time of grief. We are forever blessed and grateful for their enduring heartfelt love."
